Ballet Master Class with Artistic Director
Daniel Catanach
offers a thorough class in classical technique by utilizing his Balanchine training and company experience doing the work of great choreographers of our time while they were still with us. As an accomplished choreographer Mr. Catanach is able to offer creative combinations which challenge the dancer's technique and musicality. His combinations are created for teh professional dancer and pre-professional students preparing for a stage career. Remembering what it was like to be a dancer, mr. Catanach creates an environment where the dnacer is able to hone their technique but allows the dancer to find and experiment with their artistry. Most importantly he knows how to share his gifts, making for a very informed and important dance educator.

 


Patricia Arenson - Ballet/Jazz

Using classical training Patricia offers a class of clean technique whether teaching ballet or jazz. She pulls from her concert stage experiences with Delaware Dance Company to clssical roles with Catanach Ballet Theater, as well as being a soloist at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

 


Jay Barrett - Jazz/Tap

Utilizing his concert experiences and growing up in the convention circuit allows Jay to teach from several perspectives on dance. Comfortable on both the Jazz and Tap stages as was shown in Broadway's "A Few Good Men" and PBS's"Spirit Dance" he uses his extensive ballet technique while demonstrating his class.


Gemma Bulos - Special Needs/Theater/Voice

A seasoned world traveller and an empathic storyteller, Gemma's music reveals her wandering soul. Gemm's music brings her unique gentleness catering to each student whether teaching to find teh voice within or the strength needed for the stage.


Alex Erikson - Ballet/Jazz

From performing on the stages of NYC's famed Lincoln center, starring in several feature films, been on the faculty of many NYC schools to teh ballet master of Catanach Ballet Theater, Mr. Erikson has been a part of media and stage production for the lsat 20 years giving him the knowledge to find the artist in his students.

 


Asmaret Ghebremicheal -- Jazz/Tap

Equally confortable on either stage or screen, Asmeret's excitement and enthusiasm for the performing arts transcends to her students. Most recently a swing on the broadway cast of "Footloose" combined with her concert experience, she is able to create classes that inspire as well as train.

 


Nancy Lemenager - Theater Dance/Jazz


An accomplished broadway professional, Nanacy brings her qxquisite dance technique accompanied by her brilliant style to your classroom. Her combinations are dreived from being in the original broadway casts of: Guys and Dolls, dream, How to Succeed and Kiss Me Kate.

 


Amar Ramazar - Ballet

Amar is a graduate from the School of American Ballet with the honor of recieving the prestigous "Mae L. Wien Foundation Award." A member of the New York City Ballet, he brings up to date methods of classical and contemporary ballet based on Balanchine's teachings, taught to him by the masters who learned directly from Mr. B.

 

 


Julie Voshell - Ballet/ Modern

Whether teaching Ballet or Modern, Ms. Voshell is equally able to translate her extensive work from teh concert stage to her studetns. Ms. Voshell brings experience from such modern/ballet companies as: DOnald Byrd/The Group, jennufer Mullet/The Works, and Catanach Ballet Theater.


Danny Tidwell - Ballet/Jazz/Hip Hop

Danny Tidwell combines his ballet training with his convention circuit background to create an environment that is about training and enjoying dance. He is the highest reigning medallist at the Shanghai International Ballet Competition and a Guest Artist with dance companies throughout the United States. Danny is rapidly becoming an established teacher/choreographer with invitations from schools throughout the country and Korea.

 


Elisha Wilson - Ballet/Jazz/Hip Hop

The combined experience of teaching outreach programs, to teaching for the Dance Theatre of Harlem, as well as creating roles such as “Carmen” in Catanach’s “The Carmen Project,” gives Elisha a solid base of teaching expertise. Elisha pushes her students to excel to their fullest potential.
